We wanted to share some great news that former Illustration major/MassArt alum Eben Haines (class of 2013 and creator of Shelter in Place Gallery) is a recipient of the ICA Foster Prize and will be part of the Foster Prize exhibition this September!
Eben distinguished himself early on as an exceptional painter, the experience he gained in the studio while studying in the Illustration program became a springboard for him to grow into an incredibly prolific painter and multidisciplinary artist. The creativity and craft that he has put into the creation of the miniature Shelter in Place Gallery has been a generous gift to the Boston artistic community. He has provided an opportunity for local and international artists to remotely exhibit their work in an actual gallery space during this isolating period caused by Covid 19.
