Congratulations to Illustration alum, John Rego ’18, who received a Gold Medal at the Society of Illustrators 64. The medal was awarded for his work “Edna’s Revenge” in the self-generated work category. John is one of the youngest recipients of this award in the history of the competition.

John Rego graduated from MassArt with BFA in Illustration in 2018 and received a Master’s Degree in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts in 2021. The Illustration Department is so proud of him and is currently teaching Narrative Illustration at MassArt.
