JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Transfer Admissions Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting and guiding prospective transfer students through the admissions process, ensuring they have information and resources needed to make informed decisions about MassArt. This role is centered on building relationships with students, helping them navigate application requirements, portfolio preparation, and transfer credit evaluations. The Transfer Admissions Coordinator also actively engages in the recruitment of prospective undergraduate transfer students while maintaining strong partnerships with community colleges. This includes meeting with students on campus, visiting high school and community colleges, and representing MassArt at college fairs, portfolio days, and other internal and external events. The coordinator serves as a trusted resource for students, families, and partner institutions, providing personalized guidance and support to ensure a smooth and informed admissions experience. events.
Salary Range: $60,000-$64,000
Collective Bargaining Agreement: The position is governed by the APA collective bargaining agreement unit.
