MassArt x SoWa is pleased to present the gallery’s eighth alumni curatorial project, on view March 9 – April 21, 2024.

Curated by Yana Nosenko (MFA ’23 Photography), border(less) addresses the multifaceted nature of migration, exploring the experiences of individuals forced to leave their homes and negotiate the challenges of assimilation and adaptation. The exhibition centers on the struggles inherent in this process — finding a new place, navigating transitions, and blending into new environments. Collectively, the work of these ten featured artists seeks to spark conversation and reflection on the shared human experience of searching for home, connection, and belonging.

Curated by Faith Baum (MFA ‘24), Darci Hanna (MFA ‘24), Magda Leon (MFA ‘24), Josh Lind (MFA ‘25), Diane Machado (MFA ‘25), and Bridey McGlynn (MFA ‘25), Print Forward is now view from April 2 – April 21, 2024. Print Forward showcases the wide array of printmaking being created by the MassArt Community. This exhibition features over two dozen MassArt students and alumni.
