ONBOARDING PAPERWORK + ID VERIFICATION
All Graduate faculty, MFA Low Residency Mentors and M.Arch Thesis Advisors must complete the Onboarding process prior to start of work at MassArt.
MassArt’s Human Resources office (HR) requests and processes onboarding paperwork for faculty and other contracted employees. The HR office is located on the 8th floor of the Tower building. If you have questions about onboarding paperwork, please contact Human Resources at 617-879-7908 or HR@Massart.edu.
MassArt uses the online Interview Exchange for payroll onboarding paperwork. Onboarding is requested via an email from “info@interviewexchange.com”, that is sent to one’s home email address. This paperwork should be completed prior to the start date of the course or work.
MassArt’s HR office requires that employees bring identification documents to the Human Resources office from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (the office closes at noon in summer), for verification of the I-9 Form ID(s), and CORI Form (ID).

If you cannot visit the MassArt HR office to verify ID documents during usual business hours, you may have your documents verified in the following ways:
1. I-9 Forms and ID(s) may be verified by an I-9 Reciprocal Processing Institution near where you live. Contact MassArt’s HR Office to let them know you cannot verifiy your documents at MassArt, and request the list of Reciprocal Processing Institutions (colleges/universities) in near your zip code area. Contact the institution of your choice to check on their open hours, and let MassArt HR know which office you plan to visit, so they may also make a courtesy call on your behalf. Email the verified documents to the MassArt HR office at HR@massart.edu or mail them to the address above.
2. CORI forms and ID must be verified by a Notary Public who will stamp and sign the CORI form. Check with your bank as they often do free notarizations for those who have accounts with them. MassArt does not reimburse for the cost of a notarization. Send the notarized CORI form/ID verification to HR@massart.edu or mail them to the address above.

FACULTY COMMUNICATION + ACCESS
MASSART EMAIL
The process of creating a new faculty NetID and email are started when the Graduate Program team submits a new faculty apointment form to Human Resources, prior to the start of a term. Faculty receive an email at their home email account, providing their MassArt NetID, email address, and an initial password. Passwords are then updated on MassArt’s password management system. For questions or problems with MassArt eamil, contact the HelpDesk,helpdesk@massart.edu, 617-879-7888, or visit on the 3rd floor of theTower Building, between the DMC and Lab.

A NetID, the name portion of a MassArt email address, is used in conjunction with the password, to log into MassArt systems such as Self-Service, and MassArt Connect.
MASSART ID AND UPDATE STICKERS
