Academic Policies
Students are responsible for being aware of academic policies. Students and faculty should note that some graduate policies differ from the undergraduate academic policies posted online in the College’s academic catalog. Students must abide by the college policies as outlined in the Student Handbook including the Community Standards as described in the handbook. Note that the academic policies listed in the Student Handbook apply to undergraduate students, and that the Graduate Academic Policies are linked above.
Degree Requirements
Review your program requirement pdfs linked on your graduate program page. Start here for Graduate Programs and here for Post-Baccalaureate Programs. Requirements are available in students’ Progress, in Self-Service.
Program Requirements and Progress – in Self-Service
Log onto Self-Service with your MassArt NetID and password to review your: course schedule, program requirements, program plan or progress, transfer credit evaluation, and grades. You also register in Self-Service. Check your registration and progress for accuracy as you move through the program. Send questions about information in your Self-Service account to Nadia Savage at nsavage@massart.edu, and to your Program Director.
There are 3 areas of information for students in Self-Service:
- Registrar Self-Service site with instructions for program and course related issues.
- Student Financial Self-Service site with instructions provided by the Bursar’s Office.
- Financial Aid and Self-Service site.
