MassArt x SoWa pleased to announce The 2024 Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibitions.
Join us at MassArt x SoWa for the exhibition from April 27 – May 26. Curated by MassArt Art Museum Executive Director Lisa Tung, the exhibitions feature the culminating work of fourteen Master of Fine Arts candidates, each in the final semester of their respective graduate programs in Photography, 2D/3D Fine Arts, and Film/Video.

The 2024 MassArt MFA Thesis includes a concurrent student-curated on-campus exhibition Emergence. Featuring all fourteen 2024 MFA graduates in 2D/3D Fine Arts, Photography, and Film/Video, Emergence is on view at the Patricia Doran Graduate Gallery, from April 29 – June 7, with an reception (5-7pm) and theatrical screening (7pm) on Friday, May 10.
2024 MFA THESIS TALKS
Fourteen MFA students in the final year of their respective programs in Photography, Film/Video, and 2D/3D Fine Arts present public artist talks on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1:00pm EST via Zoom and in the Design and Media Center Lecture Hall. This year’s 2024 MFA candidates will discuss their culminating thesis work, their MassArt graduate school experience, and their broader practice in ten-minute presentations.
