GODINE LIBRARY
GODINE LIBRARY FALL HOURS:
- M-Th // 8am – 9pm
- F // 8am – 6pm
- Sa & Su // 11am – 5pm
Ebooks and articles are available 24/7. When the physical library is closed you can contact a librarian by emailing library@massart.edu.
Return books to the book drop outside of Tower across from Evans Way Park.
CATALOG – Where we keep records of all of the books and DVDs we have added to the collection. It includes digital books. It also includes the collections of 8 other libraries in our consortium. At the moment, you can not borrow material from these other libraries, so you might consider limiting your search to MassArt holdings.
DATABASES – Mostly collections of magazine articles, but also images, citation help, trend forecasting, and video tutorials. You can do more granular searching within a database, than through Search Everything. These are arranged alphabetically or by subject.
RESEARCH GUIDES – Guides put together by the librarians on all MassArt major areas as well as far ranging topics, such as racism and climate change. These pull together suggested books, articles, videos, and websites on a topic. Librarian Greg Wallace has put together an intro to research guide which might be of use: https://massart.libguides.com/tmw.
We also have guides that highlight some of our unique collections like artists’ books and zine and minicomics. We hope to be able to share these resources with you when we are all back on campus this fall.
