Reif Larsen, author of the NY Times bestselling novel The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet and Lois Hetland’s former student, will visit classes in the Art Education Department on Monday March 25 and give a public talk at 6:00 pm in Kennedy 406.

Several Art Education majors who are engaged in community work through the Center for Art and Community Partnerships have work in this exhibition: Emma Cantrell, Sarah Gay (MAT alumna), Deanna Troy Henry, Meghan Robbins, Darien Stankowski, and Charline Xu. Both personal work and creative documentation of community collaborations are featured.

Looking at the work and practices of 5 contemporary artists through the lens of documentary, this film festival attempts to lay bare the various approaches of contemporary artists at work in their studios.
