Art Education’s Majors Orientation Day will be Wednesday September 4th from 10:00-12:00 in the Arnheim Gallery. Meet faculty, hear from Art Education majors about their experiences in the department, meet with your advisor, sign up for your studio (if taking a Portfolio class), and eat pizza at 12:00.

Hunter Clarke (MSAE 2003) will be having her first solo exhibition at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art (DCCA) November 16 – March 2014. A Letter from Lois Hetland: Planning an Art Education Trip to India!
Dear Art Ed Students and Colleagues:
Welcome back from the summer! As you see from Matt’s message, I’m away on sabbatical this fall. An important project of the sabbatical is to develop a travel course to India for Art Ed students. John Crowe and I will be traveling there in late October into mid-November, exploring the possibilities for a trip that I hope will be available to students in January 2015 (fingers crossed).
