Former chair of the Art Education Department, Claudine Bing, is showing new oil pastel drawings which respond playfully to the theories of astrophysics.

In previous exhibitions Claudine Bing has drawn and painted about the birth of continents, islands, and the differences between geologic time and human time. Her art contrasts our human vulnerabilities with the often-violent forces of nature. In this exhibition, her vision enlarges to include the universe and particularly the stars.
