Illustrative Mask-Making

Illustrative Mask-Making, with instructor Mark Reusch, is a unique class in which students create three-dimensional painted masks as mixed-media solutions to illustration assignments. Students focus on designing characters from short stories and myths as well as embracing the history of masks in various world cultures. At the end of the semester they even build puppets!

Keep your eyes open for flyers for Masked Model Open Drawing, when students pose as models in their own handmade masks!
