Job Description
The Museum of Fine Arts needs a teacher for their homeschool class for 9-11 year olds on Fridays (1:15-3). Most of the students are boys. The first half of the class is a specific tour of the MFA, and then the students do a related art activity for the second half of the class. Continue reading
Sarah Gay (MAT Dec. 2011), along with her collective Rifrakt, has work at the Scollay Square Gallery at Boston City Hall until October 12. The show focuses on the triple decker, a unique Boston form of housing.
Sarah teaches animation to teenagers and adults through Continuing Education and the Center for Arts and Community Partnerships at MassArt. She also works in a media lab at Harvard helping students edit their own personal projects. She is a huge cycling advocate and has been illustrating for the Boston Cyclist’s Union over the past two years and is also working on a short documentary film about a local non-profit bike shop, Bikes Not Bombs. She recently became engaged to fellow Rifrákter Chris O’Neill.
