Cristina Pinton

Cristina Pinton (MSAE 2004) is finishing her first year as visual arts teacher at Avon Old Farms School, a private school  in Avon, Connecticut.  She teaches dark room photography, printmaking, drawing and architecture and  has just been promoted to Visual Arts Chairperson for next year. Cristina lives on the lovely Avon Old Farms campus, directly behind the art building where she teaches!

In November 2012 Cristina’s son Orion Drogu was born.

Previously Cristina taught at the Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter School in Boston. She left that job to spend a year in Florence, Italy, which turned into  an eight-year stay, during which she completed a fine arts master’s degree in Venice and got married, among other adventures. (Search for previous listings in this Alumnae section to find out more about Cristina’s Italian years.)

Cristina and her husband plan to return to Italy every summer from next year onward. Meanwhile, her son is hearing Italian spoken at home.
