The work in this show is Doug’s art from the virtual online world of Second Life.  The images are screen captures of three-dimensional pieces he has constructed in the virtual environment.  He has a concurrent exhibit in Second Life. and he recommends this as the best way to see the work.

To see the exhibition live, you must join Second Life by logging on to http://www.secondlife.com/join/.  You choose a name for your avatar, enter the requested information, then search for “MassArt in SL” in the Groups tab.  Doug will be giving scheduled tours of the exhibition in Second Life–check his blog for dates and times at:  slowsculpture.livejournal.com.
