PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  • All students will present their own work during the Satuday + Sunday formal / individual reviews by sharing their own screen with images, clips, or a looping presentation of their work.
  • Weekend reviews are 30 minutes each.
  • Image slideshows / presentations should be set to loop so that students can focus on the discussion.
  • Students must upload assets by 9am January 3 (giving reviewers 3-4 days to pre-view and explore student work); the grad team will share student assets (and links, if applicable) in advance with reviewers. Please keep this in mind: all reviewers will have already spent time with your work prior to these sessions. Images and (silent) clips shown during the reviews are simply reference points for the discussion.
  • Student introductions should be brief, reserving the majority of the 30-minute review slot for reviewer feedback. Students are welcome to include a brief artist statement with their images/assets, or link to a web or blog page that includes a written introduction to the work.
  • The graduate office is offering a mini-workshop on Virtual Presentation and Zoom Screen-share Best Practices on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 6:30pm EST with Rebecca Morrison, for students who would like to learn or refresh their virtual presentation skills for a smooth screen-sharing experience. Please see further info below.

  • Students must share images and/or clips of their work in advance, via Google Drive (required). Students may also share a URL of a blog page or website (optional). UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES / ASSETS HERE by 9am on January 3, 2024

Sound works may be shared as .wav or .mp3 files via Google Drive, or as links to a streaming platform.
