Bio

Ashley Rose Harrison’s parents met on a hippie commune in Yellowstone National Park and raised her in the Rocky Mountains. After several years of moving around the U.S. and Europe Harrison now paints and sculpts from her studio in Boston where she is a curator and a live-in member of the artist commune and house venue known as the Whitehaus. She has been mentored by Dean Nimmer, Stuart Diamond, and Peter Wayne Lewis and is currently a non-traditional, independent, graduating senior at Massachusetts College of Art & Design. There she was the recipient of the Book Award and the Rosamund T. (Strong) Halle Scholarship.
