Images from a Summer in Ecuador
The first MSAE trip to Ecuador was a great success!
Students experienced the Andean cultures of Ecuador as part of the Masters program’s new travel course.
Dan Serig, accompanied by Art Ed faculty Lois Hetland and John Crowe, and a group of MSAE students visited Ecuador for a two-week journey. Juan Ormaza, Ecuadorian and MassArt Foundations professor, guided the group through the incredible mix of cultural, social, historical and biological diversity that makes Ecuador one of the most remarkable places to visit.
(Which will be offered again in Summer 2009.)

Throw Pies for Art Supplies
A Contribution from Emily Brozyna:
In early May in the courtyard a fundraiser took place in which donors bought tickets to "pie" Residence Life staff members. The funds raised bought art supplies for the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard’s after-school program.
Emily worked on this project all semester.
Here we see John Giordano about to throw pies in the students’ faces!
Thank you, Emily, for these unique photos and for your work on this community project.
