Creating Community Video
Students in Adriana Katzew’s Creating Community classes have been working with elders at ABCD/Parker Hill Fenway for several semesters. ABCD is a long time partner of MassArts’s Center for Art and Community Partnerships. According to the ABCD manager, the art program is “the one program the seniors always look forward to.”
A video was made of the Fall 2013 program at ABCD. If you want to be inpsired all over again about the power of art in people’s lives, watch it and hear one of the participants say, “I was always sad and depressed. However, since I started this program, I feel better. I am a new person.”
