Ariel Rosenblum

Ariel Rosenblum (BFA2010) has been accepted to Bard’s Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture in New York City.  She will begin the two-year Master’s program in the fall.

Community Table: Building Relationships Through Art, is a multi-media exhibition featuring artwork created by community members affiliated with ABCD Parker Hill/Fenway and the Back of the Hill Apartments, as well as the teacher artists from the MassArt community who facilitate their process.

Youth Development Training Opportunity

TRAINING SERIES:  YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN THE ARTS

Training description:

This four-session, 16-hour training introducing youth workers and teaching artists to ways to reinforce the natural alignment between youth development principles and strong arts learning experiences. The training goes into depth about the youth development approach, using arts examples and including exploration of art education theory. The training team will include a trainer certified in the youth development approach and an experienced teaching artist. Continue reading

Matt Mazzola

Matt Mazzola (MAT August 2012) has just signed a contract to be the art teacher  at the American School of Kuwait for two years, starting in September!  He will teach  foundations, drawing & painting, sculpture, printmaking, and an AP course.
