Attention actors, painters, musicians, sculptors, dancers and all types of creative artists!  

Join ArtCorps and use your creative talents to strengthen international development in Central America in 2009.  Through community arts projects, artists educate and inspire people to participate actively in improving the environmental, health, and social conditions in their communities. Each works for 1 or 2 years as a volunteer with a host nonprofit development organization that is an expert in its field.

New for 2009! 
* All volunteers will receive a personal stipend of approximately $1,000 to reduce personal costs, in addition to receiving airfare, room and board, and medical insurance.
* Both 1-year and 2-year opportunities are available.  
Apply now for opportunities in Guatemala and El Salvador that begin in January 2009.  Candidates must be proficient in Spanish.

Majors Registration Day for Fall 2008 is Tuesday March 25.

Art Education advising and majors registration will take place in South 109 according to the following schedule:

9:00 – 10:00    Rising seniors and super seniors
10:00 – 11:00  Rising juniors
11:00 – 12:00  Rising sophomores

You do not need an appointment.   Just come at the appointed hour and sign in on your advisor’s list.

• Consultation with academic specialists to help you flesh out
  ideas, make informed decisions, and develop interactive course
  materials;

• Training in the “essentials” for faculty, staff, and
  students, including customized workshops designed to meet the needs of
  your department.
