We have been saddened to learn that David Prifti (TPP 1989) died recently at the age of fifty. A photo major at Mass Art who later earned an MFA at Yale, David taught photography for twenty-five years at Concord Carlisle High School, where he is terribly missed.
“David Prifti personified what it means to be student-centered,” according to his principal Peter Badalament. “He held them all to high standards, but then in his own way, he found ways to support them regardless of their background. He truly cared about his students and he cared about their progress; we know that these are essential characteristics of a world-class teacher…. It’s an incredible understatement to simply say that he will be missed at CCHS.”
