Student Teacher Placement Orientation Meeting
for all students considering doing their student teaching in Fall 2008 or Spring 2009

Monday, February 4th, 4:30 – 5:30 pm in the Admissions Conference Room, South 103

David Ardito, Placement Coordinator for MassArt Student Teaching, needs to know who is getting ready to student teach in academic year 2008-2009, both fall and (next) spring terms. You’ll get a Student Teaching Handbook, fill out an information form about needs and preferences for your placement, and have time to ask questions. The placement process happens throughout the term before you student teach, and it often involves several school visits and conversations with potential supervising teachers. This meeting is the kick-off for setting up fall-term placements, and it helps us get the landscape for looking toward spring 2009 placements.
