Beaver Country Day School will be seeking a sub to cover a maternity leave.  Beaver Country Day School in Brookline  is an independent, co-educational, progressive day school serving 425 students in grades 6-12. The leave will probably  start after Thanksgiving and go through the end of the school year in early June.

The teaching load will be mostly 2D, a class called Drawing Lab which is a balance of drawing skills and questioning what drawing is in the context of contemporary art and a class called Mash-up Studio which focuses on generating ideas and content through the use of non-traditional materials and methods.

They prefer a candidate with teaching experience.
