Art Ed Needs Your Help with Fundraising!
With visiting artist-teacher Olivia Gude and the first exhibition devoted to the graduating seniors’ own work, this is a big semester for the Art Education Department community. We could use some extra money just for the department during times like this; other departments raise funds to cover such expenses, and we can, too!
How? We’re holding a baked-goods fund-raiser on March 2 and 3 in the Tower Lobby.
But to pull this off, we need a little bit of time from as many of us as possibly can.
Here’s what you can do:
- contribute two-dozen baked somethings – cookies, muffins, cupcakes, or other yummy things, on Monday or Tuesday, March 2nd or 3rd, by 9:30 am
- sit at the table for an hour of selling
- or both!
Sign-up sheets are circulating in your classes this week (Feb. 17 -21), so please be generous with your time and baking talents. We really need a good turn-out!
We’re working on selling tee shirts at this time, also – if you’re interested in helping with the shirts, contact me.
