Planning is already well underway for this summer’s travel course to Ecuador July 1-16. Last year’s trip was a wonderful experience for all participants. Dan Serig and Juan Ormaza, a MassArt professor and Ecuadoran, will be co-leaders again this year.
The itinerary will be somewhat different. In addition to Quito and the Cloud Forest in the Andes, the group will explore the very different coastal culture and stay at a national park on the beach. The experience of working with children was a highlight of the first trip, and there are plans to increase these opportunities and increase the depth of these experiences.
