Massachusetts College of Art and Design was proud to present MAFF (MassArt Film Festival) 2024, featuring culminating thesis work from the 2024 graduates of MassArt’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Film/Video.
The centerpiece of the festival, MAFF: Behind The Sun, hosted by the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, MA,was a two-day student-programmed theatrical screening featuring short films from each of the twenty-five 2024 Film/Video BFA graduates.
A concurrent on-campus gallery exhibition, MAFF: Spotlight, featuring expanded cinema and 2D/3D artworks from select graduating seniors, was on view at the MassArt Student Life Gallery from April 26 – May 3.

The MAFF 2024 on-campus gallery exhibition, Spotlight, featured expanded cinema and 2D/3D artworks from select graduating seniors, and was on view at the MassArt Student Life Gallery from April 26 – May 3, with a closing reception on Friday, May 3, 4-6:30pm.
Spotlight aimed to illuminate the dynamic visions of select graduating Film/Video BFA students, each presenting their unique exploration of contemporary storytelling through the lens of moving image and multimedia work. From compelling narratives to behind-the-scenes work, the exhibition celebrated the creative ingenuity of emerging talents at MassArt.
