Massachusetts College of Art and Design is proud to present MAFF (MassArt Film Festival) 2024, featuring culminating thesis work from the 2024 graduates of MassArt’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Film/Video.

The centerpiece of the festival, MAFF: Behind The Sun, hosted by the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, MA, is a two-day student-programmed theatrical screening featuring short films from each of this year’s twenty-five Film/Video BFA graduates. Behind The Sun at the Coolidge comprises two events: Screening Part I on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:30pm and a Part II matinee on Sunday, May 5th at 3:00pm. 

A concurrent on-campus gallery exhibition, MAFF: Spotlight, featuring expanded cinema and 2D/3D artworks from select graduating seniors, will be on view at the MassArt Student Life Gallery from April 26 – May 3, with a closing reception on Friday, May 3, 4-6:30pm.
