Isthmus is a collaborative project started by the students at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston in order to foster international dialogue through photography. The MassArt students invited young photographers from abroad to engage in long-term image conversations in which they enact a call and response to each others work. Each conversation will culminate in a handmade book made by the MassArt students and shared with the collaborators.
