Congratulations to students Ailish Shea and Anna Steinman, whose work for Bay State Parent Magazine was awarded medals by the Parenting Media Association! This national contest includes entries from parenting publications across the country, Canada and Australia. The work was created for Irena Roman’s Junior Illustration course, where students had a chance to work with  creative director Paula Monette Ethier to create illustrations to be used in print and digital publications.

Anna Steinman’s cover illustration was awarded a bronze medal.

Ailish Shea’s interior illustration was awarded a gold medal.
