Digital Collages on Fabric

Above is a short video of digital collages printed on two layers of fabric. The bottom layer is cotton and the top is sheer silk organza. There was a fan in the room to simulate the movement of people walking.

Below are individual images of the 8 collages that I printed. These are from my year long project documenting my walks from August  2019 to August 2020.  I am still collaging all the months, and am in April. I chose the months of March and April to print on fabric, since the colors seemed reminiscent of November 2021.

I spent most the semester experimenting with finishing the edges of the fabric and deciding how to mount them on the wall.

This project connects to my body and my experience in the world, as well as the changing climate.
