B. Chehayeb is an artist in Brooklyn and a current MFA candidate at the Massachussets College of Art and Design.
Her work spans a wide range of media and focuses on the reconstruction of failed memories, specifically memories warped by nostalgia and cultural hybridity. In 2020 Chehayeb will attend as Artist in Residence at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the Massachusetts College of Art and Design Fellowship Award. She was a finalist for the Hopper Prize, awarded the Artist Merit Scholarship to attend Vermont Studio Center in Winter 2020 and will be exhibiting in W’20 with Delphian Gallery in London among the winners of Delphian’s annual open call award. Outside of exhibitions her work has been published in both national and international media.
