Welcome to Big Eco Energy! We are a team of Massachusetts College of Art and Design students in Fashion as well as Graphic Design with a passion for Biology and Sustainability. We are currently in the process of mass producing Caddis Glue.
Caddis Glue is a biodegradable, non-toxic, waterproof alternative for adhesion and finishing surfaces that is created by the Caddisfly Larvae (Trichoptera). This adhesion can be utilized for shoes, clothing, etc. Its elasticity and strength make for the perfect combination to be able to seal porous surfaces. Also, it can be used as a waterproof protective layer on clothing and shoes without any of the chemicals. We are currently only producing the 4 FL OZ. (118 mL) at around $6 the bottle. Caddisfly larvae are accessible and continue to make the glue like silk throughout their pupae stage which can last 1- 2 years.
