Caddisfly life cycle & harvesting time!

Caddislfly larvae live most of their pupae stage under water near rocks and sticks. They tend to live in fresh water environments like lakes, ponds and often in moving bodies of water like streams. They are sensitive to pollutants and so their existence is an indicative of clean water. The pupae stage last 1-2 years. It is during this stage that they produce the glue like silk which is the main ingredient in our product Caddis Glue.
