“Opens in the center, with back panel. Front covers are recessed board framed with cloth and board. Recessed areas are collage with writing (human origin tales) and sculptural human forms made of bone (one chicken, one pig). Back cover has four recessed boards, collage and three dimensional objects placed in each. These spaces represent the four directions: west thunder and lightning (skate shell), north cleansing winds (white stone chips), south fertile growth (bush twigs), and east rising sun (papyrus rolls). Interiors are paper collage images representing the union of all things.” (M. McCarthy)
