A digital picture of a person was broken into a linear arrangement of its constitutive pixels beginning from top left, reaching the top right and thereon zigzagging down the pixel grid. This linear arrangement of pixels (which could also be called, more conceptually but perhaps more accurately speaking, a list of colors) was transposed into the document … at one pixel color per page, with the most significant transformation of this step being the ‘enlargement’ of each pixel’s color field to cover the entire page. Each edition comes installed on a custom USB drive in a protective case and is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. (Flash drive and certificate issued in 3 in. x 4 in. plastic case with lid.)
