Poems and essays written after author’s return home from Iraq. Limited ed. of 250 copies. Hand sewn binding. Includes 6 belt loops and 21 buttons inside pouch sewn from camouflage uniform with velcro closures, given by representatives from Green Door Studio.

“This book was hand bound at the Green Door Studio of Burlington Vermont. The cover is handmade from the artists’ uniform worn in Iraq along with shredded American flags and U.S. currency. The cover is printed letterpress with handset type at the San Francisco Center for the Book. All photographs were taken with disposable cameras by Nathan Lewis and Jeff Guthrie.
