Blue steel covered book issued in 28.5 x 29.5 cm. styrofoam box, accompanied by a fired handmade ceramic globe by James Lee Byars entitled: The sphere of generosity. For Orr’s piece “The matter of O” (p.15) the artist has applied his own blood to the book via a rubber stamp. Pages 25-26 are blank with a vertical tear deliberately made by the author. The “skull page” (p. 163-164) was handmade by Yoshio Ikezaki using kozo fibers and a powdered mummy’s skull.
