Sarah Crowner at Casey Caplan and Elizabeth Peyton at Gladstone ( two online exhibitions worth exploring)

Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you all well… in the depths of your studio practices, and working vigorously on plans for your Thesis Presentations. I also hope your safe, taking care of yourselves and the people close, and taking the time you need to be at peace with your progress!

In my constant perusing of the information super highway ( the internet) I found two shows, online presentations I deemed important to bring to your attention. They are both clever in how you ( the viewer) navigates the ‘show’ and perhaps more importantly how additional content was included to expand reading and explanation of tiring for some of you?he work being presented. Perhaps inspiring for some of you?

The first is Sarah Crowner at Casey Caplan, an artist I’ve always admired for how she has used and activated space… and especially interesting thinking about ‘online’ as space!

The next is Eternal Ruin Elizabeth Peyton at Gladstone, I was blown away by this show… ( mostly technically) how you navigate it, simply scrolling down allowing content to unfold as you delve deeper and deeper!

No images available… but MAKE SURE YOU KEEP SCROLLING DOWN!!!

Enjoy!

Antonio
