Brian Reddy (TPP Dec. 2008) will be teaching drawing, painting, and digital arts at Wellesley High School starting September 2013. He is returning to Massachusetts after several years teaching in Brooklyn.
Yael Kupiec-Dar (MSAE 1994) is currently teaching at Ephraim Curtis Middle School in Sudbury. She earned a MFA in Painting at Maryland Institute of Art several years after completing her MSAE. She also obtained National Board Certification and has mentored new teachers through the Massachusetts Department of Education Master Teacher Program. Continue reading
Heather Kasunick (BFA 1995) will be at the Mass Art Made shop on June 1st about noon for “Play Day: For Kids” which runs from 11am- 2pm. She co-illustrated (alongside Mark Reusch, another Mass Artist) the book Unbored: The Essential Field Guide to Serious Fun, which was designed by Tony Leone (another Mass artist).
Erin Feeney (BFA 2008) teaches at Fitchburg High School.

Cristina Pinton (MSAE 2004) is finishing her first year as visual arts teacher at Avon Old Farms School, a private school in Avon, Connecticut. She teaches dark room photography, printmaking, drawing and architecture and has just been promoted to Visual Arts Chairperson for next year. Cristina lives on the lovely Avon Old Farms campus, directly behind the art building where she teaches! Continue reading
Chris Plunkett (TPP 2007) teaches art at Orchard Gardens, a BPS K-8 school in Roxbury, and was featured on a NBC News broadcast about the turnaround at the school.
Orchard Gardens was among the lowest performing schools in the state. The turnaround began in 2010 when the new principal, Andrew Bott, fired the security guards and used the money saved to hire arts teachers. The arts have driven the school’s turnaround. Orchard Gardens is a President’s Committee on Arts and Humanities Turnaround: Arts Awardee, one of eight in the nation.
